UPS System

  • UPS is an electronics device that continues to supply electric power to the load for a certain period of time during a loss of utility power or when the line voltage varies outside normal limits.
  • UPS sits between a power supply (e.g. a wall outlet) and a device (e.g. a computer) to prevent undesired features of the power source (outages, sags, surges, bad harmonics, etc.) from the supply from adversely affecting the performance of the device.

Rectifier System

Type : DC system

Capacity: 30A ~ 5000A

  • A Rectifier is an electrical device that converts alternating current (AC), which periodically reverses direction, to direct current (DC), which flows in only one direction.
  • The rectifier devices comprise parallel-connected rectifier modules in which the rectification of the mains voltage into a controlled and smoothed DC voltage is affected.
  • In case of a power failure, the batteries, which are also parallel connected, ensure an uninterruptible supply to the load. After mains recovery, the batteries will be recharged.
  • A typical DC Rectifier system includes rectifiers, control and monitoring modules, AC distribution for rectifier input, DC distribution, batteries, and low voltage disconnect options.

Rechargeable Batteries

Application: Telecom, UPS, Emergency lighting, Security, Utility, Railways, Photo-voltaic

Range: 1.20Ah ~ 4600Ah –2V/4V/6V/8V/12V (Design Life 10 – 20 Years)

  • Solar panels charge the batteries during daylight hours and the batteries supply the power when it is needed, often at night and during cloudy weather.
  • The two most common types of rechargeable batteries in use are lead- acid and alkaline.
  • Lead acid batteries have plates made of lead, mixed with other materials, submerged in a sulfuric acid solution.
  • Alkaline batteries can be either nickel-cadmium or nickel- iron batteries. They have plates made of nickel submerged in a solution of potassium hydroxide.

Passive Cooled Enclosures & Shelters

Application: Microwave stations, Satellite communication - Earth stations, Base repeater stations, Power stations, Switching stations, Gas & Oil pipelines SCADA station.

Range: 6m2- 12 m2 (depending upon heat dissipation characteristic of equipment to be in-housed and the ambient temperature required)

Operating Temperature: <40°C

  • These enclosures are completely passive without any moving parts and use thermo-syphon principle to provide reduction in the temperature which improves battery life.
  • These enclosures can also be used for housing small electronic equipment.
  • The Passive Cooled Shelters are custom designed and manufactured based on the heat dissipation characteristic of equipment to be in housed and the ambient temperature required
  • Batteries are operated at 25°C specify Battery ratings for capacity & life expectancy.
  • Experience shows that the battery operating temperature is less by 12°C to 14°C when the peak ambient temperature is 50°C to 52°C.

 

DC-DC Converter

Type : Rack / Industrial Type

Capacity : 20W ~ 2KW, 12, 24, and 48 VDC Output voltages

Application : Applications include powering radio transceivers, telecommunications equipment, supervisory control systems and other critical electronic loads.

  • A DC-to-DC converter is an electronic circuit or electromechanical device that converts a source of direct current (DC) from one voltage level to another.
  • It is a type of electric power converter. Power levels range from very low (small batteries) to very high (high-voltage power transmission)

Testing and Battery Changing Services

  • A generator is a device that converts motive power (mechanical energy) into electrical power for use in an external circuit. Sources of mechanical energy include steam turbines, gas turbines, water turbines, internal combustion engines and even hand cranks.

Solar Photovoltaic Modules

Solar Charge Controller

Type : PWM & MPPT

Range : 10A ~ 60A – 12V/24V/48V/120V

  • It regulates the voltage and current coming from the solar panels going to the battery.
  • It’s the energy manager in a PV system, ensuring that the battery is cycled under conditions which do not reduce its ability to deliver its rated capacity over its expected lifetime.
  • Most “12 volt” panels put out about 16 to 20 volts, so if there is no regulation the batteries will be damaged from overcharging.
