OSS fully supports the national In-Country Value (ICV) program of an ICV Committee. The company has embedded ICV into its own business planning model, with particular reference to its major projects to contribution in the socio-economic development of the Sultanate of Oman and raise opportunities.
Moreover, the OSS acknowledged that further efforts are needed to stimulate the development of ICV to actively support the country’s ambition to achieve its objectives set forth in the 2020 vision.
Since commencement of operations, the Company has consistently managed to increase the employment of Omani nationals at different level in the organization to contribute to human capability development and stimulates productivity in Oman's economy.

All training programs are done in house at our training center by qualified personnel.
In support of ICV objectives, manufacturing and services take a priority in OSS by maximizing local production and assemblies in Oman. Depending on their field of expertise, these companies get invited to participate in tenders related to goods and services. In fact, every OSS field site has both SME and LCC companies providing local manufactured, assembled goods and services.
